The City of Pensacola is seeking civil engineering services for the construction engineering and inspection (CEI) of the sidewalk, roadway, and lighting of the Legion Field to Global Learning Academy Project. The project involves approximately 0.893 miles of sidewalk construction in Pensacola, FL, and includes three segments: Gregory Street, North L Street, and Wright Street. The selected firm will provide construction management and field coordination services, including onsite management, CEI, and quality assurance. The firm will also be responsible for monitoring the contractor's onsite construction activities, inspecting materials, and maintaining detailed records. • The project is federally funded with assistance from the FDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). • The selected firm must be prequalified by FDOT to perform the indicated types of work. • The firm must have experience in complex urban sidewalk projects and a strong commitment to quality control. • The firm must have exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills. • The project requires meticulous onsite management and CEI to ensure successful execution, adherence to design specifications, and effective mitigation of impacts on the community. • The City seeks a partner with proven expertise in construction management and field coordination services. • The project includes electrical, utility relocation, lane narrowing, and pavement markings and seeding/sodding. • The Consultant shall be responsible for job control samples determining the acceptability of all materials and completed work items on the basis of either test results or verification of a certification, certified mill analysis, DOT label, DOT stamp, etc.
