JLTV Overhead Gunner Protection Kits - Sources Sought

The 48th Contracting Squadron at RAF Lakenheath is seeking feedback and sources of companies capable of providing JLTV Overhead Protection Gunner Kits. The kit must include a reinforced overhead structural cage and restraint system, with three 12-inch by 12-inch windows fitted with transparent ballistic glass. The kit must also rigidly bolt directly to the JLTV's pre-existing structural frame, guaranteeing the gunner's safety in a rollover. The delivery of the kit must be coordinated with the 48 SFS POC to deliver to the 48 SFS S4 Warehouse Building #1027, RAF Lakenheath. • The kit must include all required high-strength, vehicle-grade mounting hardware • The kit must include detailed, step-by-step installation instructions • The central design principle of the kit is to be completely unobtrusive, guaranteeing no obstruction to the weapon system, the gunner's freedom of movement, or their access to critical equipment
