Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified sources to provide statements of interest in response to this announcement for the purpose of market research and determination of acquisition strategy. The project involves the installation of a radar system and camera at the MAST OP-1 site in Vieques, Puerto Rico. The scope of work includes the installation of a Furuno radar, provision and installation of a tower mount for a camera, installation of a Pelco Esprit camera, and provision and installation of necessary cables and hardware. Interested vendors are requested to provide information about their capability and interest in the project, including their strategy for accomplishing the work and a rough order of magnitude estimate for the services described.
• The installation must be completed within 45 days of the award date.
• All electrical work must conform to the latest adopted addition of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70).
• The contractor must provide a licensed and certified electrician for the installation.
• The contractor must coordinate with the Contract Specialist and COR local for installation times and availability of escort.
• The contractor must provide a REAL-ID compliant identification or an alternative form of acceptable identification for all contracted personnel visiting the location of work.
