Description
The City of Auburn is seeking a qualified contractor to completely demolish a single‑family residence at 526 Minot Avenue, remove the foundation or slab (if elected), handle all utility disconnections, manage hazardous material (asbestos, lead‑based paint, oil tank, universal waste), and perform final site clean‑up. Work must be performed between the contract execution date and May 31 2026, with strict limits on work hours, dust and noise control, erosion control, and safety compliance. The contractor must provide a bid bond equal to 10 % of the total bid, retainage of 10 % on progress payments, and carry the required insurance and bonding.
• Demolition of the residential structure (above‑ground) with optional slab/foundation removal.
• Complete hazardous‑material identification, abatement, and disposal (asbestos, lead‑paint, oil tank, universal waste).
• Utility disconnects, site security, erosion & sediment control, dust/noise mitigation, and final site “neat‑and‑clean” condition.
