The City of Alexandria is seeking vendors to supply a stock of single‑phase pole‑mount distribution transformers ranging from 5 kVA to 250 kVA for its electric distribution department. The transformers must meet a comprehensive set of ANSI, IEEE, ASTM, NEMA, and USDA‑RUS standards, include internal fault detectors, and be delivered on pallets with a 24‑hour advance notice. The contract is goods‑only; the city will hold inventory for 12 months and award the purchase to the lowest compliant bidder that can meet a reasonable delivery window of 12‑20 weeks (preferred ≤ 8 weeks).
