2026 ON-CALL SIDEWALK SPOT REPAIR PROGRAM

The Town of Manchester is seeking bids for an on-call contractor to perform isolated concrete sidewalk and curb repairs, as well as other miscellaneous concrete work. The term of the contract is from May 1, 2026, to November 30, 2026, with the option to extend for the 2027 and 2028 construction seasons. The contractor will be required to provide insurance, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability. The bid must include a certified cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price. • The project includes the repair of concrete sidewalks, curbs, and ramps, as well as the installation of new concrete sidewalks and curbs. • The contractor will be required to provide traffic control and maintenance of traffic during the project. • The contractor will be required to restore lawn areas and provide silt sacks as needed. • The contractor will be required to provide a non-collusion affidavit and a conflict of interest statement. • The contractor will be required to provide a certificate of compliance with CGS 31-57b.
