Description
The Employment Development Department (EDD) is seeking a contractor to provide tree trimming services for the EDD facility located at 130 East Ortega Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the tree pruning and removal services. The services will be performed in accordance with the American National A300 Standard for tree pruning. The contractor must have a C-49 (formerly C-61/D-49) license and maintain all required protection and insurance for property, employees, and the public. Key aspects of the project include:
• Providing tree pruning and removal services according to specifications and industry guidelines
• Ensuring good traffic control measures and minimizing disruption to the public
• Maintaining adequate safety measures for employees and the public
• Complying with all federal, state, county, and city laws and regulations
• Providing a certified arborist accredited by the International Society of Arboriculture to oversee the work
• Completing all work on weekends, with exact dates to be determined by the EDD Project Manager and the contractor
