System-Wide Bridge and Highway Repairs

The New York State Bridge Authority is seeking proposals for system-wide bridge and highway repairs. The contractor will be required to provide 24-hour standby readiness to perform urgent repair work as needed. The project work may be assigned anywhere within the Bridge Authority's facilities, including the Bear Mountain Bridge, Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, Walkway over the Hudson Bridge, Mid-Hudson Bridge, Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge, and Rip Van Winkle Bridge. The contract term is for three years, from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028, with two optional one-year extensions. • The contractor must have demonstrable expertise in construction, particularly in structural repairs to bridges, highways, and other features of authority facilities. • The contractor must be able to supply equipment, manpower, and materials on 5 days' notice. • The contractor may be required to work days, nights, or weekends until the situation is resolved. • The authority intends to sign an agreement for a three-year term, with two optional one-year extensions. • Firms possessing demonstrable expertise in these areas of construction are invited to submit a bid/cost proposal.
