The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to design‑build a new scale‑house building, two truck scales, and extensive site‑improvements at the municipal solid‑waste landfill. Work includes demolition of existing structures, concrete and asphalt paving, drainage, utility coordination, fencing, gates, lighting, and landscaping, with a strict schedule to have all major components operational by the end of 2026. • Demolition of existing scale house and truck scale, followed by construction of a new scale‑house building (architectural, structural, MEP). • Installation of two inbound/outbound truck scales with foundations, approach slabs, steel‑decked catwalks, and scale walkways (delegated design). • Extensive civil works: grading, 8‑in. and 4‑in. concrete pavement, curbs, sidewalks, drainage culverts, rip‑rap, and erosion‑control measures. • Site‑improvements such as fencing, a 30‑ft remote‑operated gate, bollards, wheel‑stops, signage, queue lights, and final seeding/mulching.
