Description
The State of California Department of General Services seeks a qualified firm to provide comprehensive construction project management (CPM) services for the major 10th & O Street re‑configuration at 1021 O Street, Sacramento. The contractor will oversee the entire interior renovation of a 10‑story, ~480,000 sf office building, coordinating design‑build activities, ensuring code compliance, managing budgets, schedules, quality control, sustainability requirements, and post‑construction close‑out. The scope includes pre‑construction planning, design‑build coordination, construction‑phase on‑site oversight, commissioning, and move‑in support over a total contract period of roughly six years.
• Manage a $100 million design‑build renovation, delivering professional CPM services across mechanical, electrical, structural, fire‑life‑safety, and IT domains.
• Provide master schedule development, cost control, risk management, quality‑assurance, and coordination with DBE/DVBE participants and state officials.
• Must hold California‑state licensing, comply with prevailing‑wage, civil‑rights, and foreign‑business certification requirements, and cannot be a member of the eventual design‑build team.
