Food Contact Paper & Plastic

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education is seeking to contract with interested parties for the purchase of food contact paper, plastic, and other materials for use in school cafeterias for CMS students. The contract will be for the provision of these materials, and the contractor will be required to provide the goods in a timely, complete, and professional manner. The contract will be for a term of [Term of Contract], and the contractor will be paid on a net 30-day basis after receipt of correct invoice or acceptance of goods or services. • The contract will be subject to the standard terms and conditions set forth in Attachment A. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and orders. • The contractor will be required to maintain insurance, including automobile, commercial general liability, and worker's compensation and employers' liability insurance. • The contractor will be required to indemnify and hold harmless CMBE, its officers, agents, employees, and assigns from and against all claims, losses, costs, damages, expenses, attorneys' fees, and liability that any of them may sustain.
