Description
The North Dakota State University Central Grasslands Research Extension Center is seeking qualified construction firms to design and build a single‑storey post‑frame (steel or wood) storage shed at its Streeter, ND campus. The project includes erection of the pole‑building structure, installation of two large overhead doors, concrete footings and exterior slab work, and basic interior lighting. The contractor must hold a valid North Dakota building license, provide a 5 % bid bond, and submit all required insurance and bonding documents upon award. Completion is required by the end of April 2027.
• Scope: 60 ft × 120 ft (primary) pole‑building with 16‑ft side walls, overhead doors (14 × 30 ft & 14 × 20 ft), concrete footers and exterior slabs, basic electrical lighting (200 lux).
• Requirements: Valid ND contractor’s license, 5 % bid bond, performance & payment bonds, workers’ compensation and liability insurance, safety manual, and post‑award certifications.
• Schedule: Bid submission deadline 15 April 2026; construction completion by 30 April 2027 (≈13 months).
