Description
The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks is seeking a contractor to improve the boat ramp and access road at Lehigh-Portland State Park. The project includes the construction of a new concrete boat ramp and asphalt access road. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to complete the work. The project must be completed within 120 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Construction of a new concrete boat ramp with push-in and cast-in-place sections
• Construction of a concrete bulkhead for a future ADA dock
• Asphalt access road from the campground to the boat ramp
• Seeding, mulching, and erosion control
• Pavement marking and signing
The contractor must have been in business for at least five years and have experience with similar projects. The contractor must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to immigration, sexual harassment, and discrimination.
