Description
The Rutland Regional Planning Commission (RRPC) is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants for annual financial statement audit services for three fiscal years (FY26, FY27, and FY28). The annual audit will be conducted under the direction of the RRPC Assistant Director/Finance Manager, with oversight by the Executive Director and the Executive Finance Committee of the RRPC Board of Commissioners.
• The audit services will include annual financial statement audits for three fiscal years.
• The selected firm will be required to perform the audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
• The RRPC is seeking a firm with experience in auditing municipal entities and familiarity with the Vermont Municipal Employees' Retirement System (VMERS).
• The proposal should include the firm's experience, qualifications, and approach to the audit, as well as a detailed breakdown of the costs and fees associated with the services.
