VALVE,SAFETY RELIEF

The US Navy is soliciting quotations for a safety relief valve. The valve must meet specific requirements, including design, material, and dimensions in accordance with the manufacturer, Electric Heater Company. The contractor must provide and maintain an inspection system acceptable to the Government and keep records of all inspection work. The packaging requirements are also specified, and the contractor must comply with the exclusion of mercury and other technical requirements. • The valve must meet the requirements as specified in the ordering data listed in the contract/purchase order. • The contractor must provide a fully descriptive part number/catalog number. • The contractor must comply with the technical and quality requirements applicable to the manufacture of the material being purchased. • The contractor must obtain written approval from the contracting officer to use document revisions other than those specified. • The contractor must provide an inspection system acceptable to the Government and keep records of all inspection work.
