The City of Columbus Public Utilities Department is seeking a qualified vendor to recondition a 250 HP vertical motor (US Motor, 460 V, 3‑phase, 1185 RPM) used in Collector Well 103 Pump #3. The scope includes pickup and transport to a repair facility, comprehensive electrical testing (high‑pot, polarization index, phase balance, resistance), inspection and repair of bearings, full disassembly, cleaning, rewinding (if needed), stator cleaning and varnishing, installation of thermal overload sensors, dynamic balancing, re‑assembly with new thrust and ball bearings, painting to match existing color, documentation, and return FOB the Parsons Avenue Water Plant in Lockbourne, OH. Quantity required is one motor. The contract will be awarded via a sealed RFQ process, with an expiration date of 16 Oct 2026.
