Santa Monica‑Malibu Unified School District is seeking a qualified Class B contractor to replace three 24 × 40 ft portable classroom units at Webster Elementary School. The work involves demolishing the existing portable structures, preparing the site, installing new foundations, delivering and installing owner‑provided portable units, reconnecting utilities, upgrading fire‑alarm and low‑voltage systems, and finishing interiors with new flooring, ceiling tiles, and paint. The project must be completed while the school remains operational and adhere to California building, electrical, fire, and ADA codes.
• Demolition of three existing portable classrooms and associated utilities.
• Site preparation, foundation work, and installation of three new modular classrooms (owner‑provided).
