Description
The City of Laguna Hills is seeking qualified contractors to perform public‑works construction of curb‑ramp improvements funded largely by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies. The work includes saw‑cutting, removal and reconstruction of curb ramps with yellow‑tile truncated domes, replacement of existing blue domes, adjustment of traffic‑signal pull boxes, and assorted miscellaneous improvements as shown on the project plans. Bids must be sealed, submitted by the deadline, and the contractor must hold a valid Class A (or appropriate combination of Class C) California contractor’s license. Prevailing‑wage requirements (California state and Davis‑Bacon rates) apply, and a bid bond equal to 10 % of the total bid is required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with subsequent submission of revised bid bond, performance bonds, insurance, schedule, and a water‑pollution control plan.
