Description
The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking a construction contractor for a Repair and Alteration (R&A) and Driveway Extension project at the Land Port of Entry (LPOE) in Alburg Springs, VT. The project involves modernizing the port, correcting deficiencies, and bringing the LPOE up to current standards. The project will include gates and guardrails, a new officer inspection booth, interior upgrades, and MEP and security upgrades. The contractor will be required to work on a historic facility and incorporate existing structures into the design. The project will be completed using the Design-Bid-Build (DBB) delivery method.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Construction or Major Renovations within an occupied facility
• Construction or Major Renovations within a historic facility
• Included major mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil and life safety components, roof and building envelope restoration and repairs
• Project square feet of at least 10,000
• Project value ranging from at least $7.5 Million
• At least substantially completed within the last 5 years of the proposal due date
The contractor will be evaluated based on their experience, management and technical approach, past performance, and qualifications and experience of key personnel.
