FY24 Call for Projects & Grant Application

The Charlotte Area Transit System is soliciting proposals for the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Grant Program. This program provides funding for capital and operating expenses to support transportation projects that meet the special transportation needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities. The projects must be situated in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Urbanized area and must be derived from the Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan for the Charlotte Urbanized Area. • Eligible subrecipients include state or local government organizations, private nonprofit organizations, and operators of public transportation. • The total funding amount available in this solicitation for funding year 2024 is $1,324,815. • A non-mandatory information meeting will be held virtually using Microsoft Teams.
