Addendum 1 - Scale House and Entrance Improvements v1

The City of Salina is soliciting bids to design‑build a new municipal solid‑waste landfill scale house and associated entrance improvements. The scope covers demolition of the existing scale house, construction of a new building with full architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, installation of two truck scales with foundations and catwalks, extensive earthwork, grading, paving, curbs, parking, storm‑water drainage, fencing, gate automation, signage, and landscaping. The contractor must also maintain continuous landfill operations throughout construction and coordinate utility services and traffic control. • Demolition, civil earthwork, and road/pavement construction (including concrete pads, curbs, and seeding). • New scale‑house building with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and interior finishes; two truck scales with delegated design foundations, approach slabs, catwalks, and remote display poles. • Site‑wide improvements: storm‑water management, erosion control, fencing, gate, bollards, queue lights, signage, and landscaping.
