Description

The United States Navy is soliciting quotes for the repair and modification of circuit card assemblies. The contractor will be responsible for performing all inspection requirements and ensuring that the repaired items meet the operational and functional requirements of the original manufacturer's specifications and drawings. The contractor must also provide a signed letter of authorization as a distributor on the OEM's letterhead if they are not the original end manufacturer. The Navy is looking for authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item represented in this solicitation. Key points to consider: • The contractor must meet the required Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT) of 110 days. • The contractor must provide a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) quote for the full repair effort of the carcass(es) after completing a teardown and evaluation. • The contractor must include all costs associated with receipt and complete repair of material that may be in unwhole condition, missing hardware, damaged, handling damage, missing parts, wear damage, and CAV Reporting. • The contractor must obtain final inspection and acceptance by the Government for all assets within the RTAT established in the resulting contract.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate without more information about the scope and complexity of the repair work. However, based on the fact that the Navy is seeking quotes for the repair and modification of circuit card assemblies, it is likely that the budget will be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the repair work will require specialized labor and equipment, and that the Navy will be purchasing a significant quantity of repaired circuit card assemblies. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the repair work, the quantity of circuit card assemblies to be repaired, and the level of competition among bidders.
