Description
The United States Coast Guard is seeking a small business to rebuild, recondition, and test two vane‑axial ventilation fans for USCGC Northland. The effort includes pickup, full motor rewinding, bearing replacement, cleaning, dynamic balancing, marine‑grade coating, final assembly, testing, and delivery back to the shipyard within a tight 15‑day window.
• Rebuild & recondition two specific fans (AX3A4W6 – 3 HP, 3,000 CFM; AX28A4W6 – 25/7 HP, 28,000 CFM) including motor rewinding, bearing replacement, cleaning, balancing, and coating.
• Perform full electrical and mechanical testing, provide detailed service reports, and deliver the refurbished fans back to the same Portsmouth, VA location.
• Must be a qualified small business (set‑aside) with capabilities in industrial motor repair, fan refurbishment, marine‑grade coating, and dynamic balancing; submit a firm‑fixed‑price quotation with cost breakdown, LOE, and required certifications by 19 Oct 2026.
