Description
The opportunity is for the repair of a cabinet, assembly, used in a crucial shipboard system enabling the launch and/or recovery of aircraft. The contractor will be responsible for repairing, testing, and inspecting the item in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the contract. The contractor must provide a quality system that ensures conformance to all applicable requirements of ISO 9001/ SAE AS9100. The contractor shall also establish and maintain a system of control over purchased parts and material.
• The contractor shall provide a step-by-step overhaul procedure for disassembly and reassembly.
• The contractor shall provide a quality assurance plan that includes inspection and testing procedures.
• The contractor shall provide a certification plan that includes marking and identification of critical safety items.
• The contractor shall provide a packaging plan that meets the requirements of MIL-STD 2073.
• The contractor shall provide a shipping plan that meets the requirements of the contract.
