Description
The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to service high mast tower lights and controllers at various locations in the Kansas City Metro Area. The services require specialized high reach aerial and bucket trucks, as well as ITS equipment on an as-needed basis. The contract period will be from the notice of contract award through December 31, 2026, with no optional renewals. The contractor will be required to perform preventative maintenance work, provide new LED heads for replacement, and fix any other issues found during the evening hours. Some key requirements include:
• Providing an aerial lift to complete inspections and maintenance work for towers in place
• Invoicing the Missouri Department of Transportation after each completed location
• Providing all traffic control
• Complying with prevailing wages and labor laws
• Providing proof of insurance and other necessary documentation
The contractor will be selected based on the lowest firm fixed pricing bid.
