The US Navy is seeking a contractor to provide a Complete Stem Assembly for a size 3 inch Hull and Backup Ball Valve. The assembly must be in accordance with BUSHIPS drawing 845-2109891, piece 8 and piece 5, and modified to Buships Drawing 845-2445483, Assembly CG. The contractor must provide a certificate of compliance certifying that the items/components furnished under this contract comply with the requirements of the procurement document. The contractor must also maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001 and provide traceability markings on the material. Some key requirements include: * The material for stem retaining nut must be ASTM-B505, alloy C90300 * Weld repair is not allowed * Material for parts requiring certification must have quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis * The contractor must maintain adequate records of all inspections and tests * The contractor must provide a statement of tests performed, listing the pieces tested, along with a copy of the test results * The contractor must submit a certificate of compliance prior to shipment of material * The contractor must use electronic signatures on Level I certification documents Some of the key documents that the contractor must comply with include: * FED-STD-H28 * ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 * QQ-N-286 * ASTM-B505 * MIL-STD-792 * ISO 9001 * ISO 10012 * ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 * MIL-I-45208 * MIL-STD-45662
