Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids for the procurement of poisons, weed killers, and herbicides in liquid form. The successful bidder will be required to provide these products to the TDCJ. The contract will be for a period of time, but the exact duration is not specified. The TDCJ reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid that best serves the interests of the State.
• The products must be new and unused, and of current production.
• The products must meet all applicable OSHA standards and regulations.
• The vendor must provide a Texas Identification Number (TIN) and a Federal Employer’s Identification Number.
• The vendor must comply with all rules, regulations, and statutes relating to purchasing in the State of Texas.
• The TDCJ will not be responsible for withholding taxes from payments made under the contract.
