Description
The US Government Publishing Office is seeking a vendor to produce 10 coil bind books with a trim size of 8-1/2" x 11" and 494 text pages plus covers. The books must be printed in four-color process ink, with covers 1 and 2 printed in four-color process and covers 3 and 4 blank. The text must be printed double-sided, head-to-head. The vendor must also punch and bind the books with a black plastic coil of a suitable diameter. The project requires a quality assurance level of 3, and the vendor must comply with GPO Contract Terms and quality standards.
• The vendor must receive a PDF file via email or uploaded to their FTP site.
• The vendor must perform a basic check of the furnished media and publishing files to assure correct output.
• The vendor must create any necessary trapping, set proper screen angles, and define file output selection for the imaging device.
• The vendor must make minor revisions to the electronic files if required by the Government.
• The vendor must pack the products to ensure no damage occurs during transit and use GPO labels on the outside of cartons.
• The vendor must deliver the products to METC IMD, ATTN: Print Services, at JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234.
