Addendum 1 - Scale House and Entrance Improvements v1

This municipal project calls for the complete demolition of an existing scale house and truck scale, followed by new construction of a scale‑house building, two steel‑deck truck scales, extensive site grading, paving, utilities, fencing, signage, and landscaping at the Salina municipal solid waste landfill. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals, coordinate with a separate utility‑garage contractor, and meet substantial‑completion and final‑completion milestones. • Demolition of existing structures and 47 254 SF of asphalt pavement. • New 8‑inch and 4‑inch concrete pavements (~99 631 SF), curbs, washouts, and rip‑rap splash pads. • Installation of two truck scales with foundations, approach slabs, and catwalks, plus full utility package (water, sewer, electrical, generator, conduit). • Site improvements including fence (2 700 LF), remote‑operated gate, bollards, wheel stops, signage, and seeding/mulching of 9.55 AC disturbed area. • Required performance and payment bonds, insurance, and compliance with SWPPP and local landfill operational constraints.
