SOLE SOURCE – Common Chassis Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRA’s), Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRA’s) and Sub-Assemblies

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC-CR) is seeking to award a five-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for Common Chassis Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRA’s), Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRA’s) and Sub-Assemblies. This effort is for Repair/Rework/and Maintenance, Engineering and Logistics Support, Test and Evaluation (T&E), Research & Development (R&D), Training, and Travel as required in support of Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems (PMUAS), PMA-262 and Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA), PMA-290, PMS-435 which falls under the Submarine Systems Program and Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC). Key aspects of the opportunity include: • The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Sierra Nevada Corporation. • The contract is being sole sourced due to lack of sufficient technical data and potential delays in fulfilling agency requirements. • Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). • All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, but a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government.
