This solicitation awards a county‑wide, non‑exclusive, work‑order‑based contract for unlimited‑quantity air‑conditioning (HVAC) services across Miami‑Dade County facilities. The contract is structured as a unit‑price, “not‑to‑exceed” agreement with a total ceiling of $3.96 M, and each individual work order may not exceed $500 k. The award will go to the two lowest responsive and responsible bidders, each responsible for executing work orders for a 36‑month term (with one optional 12‑month renewal). The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, testing, balancing, duct cleaning (NADCA standards), and warranty documentation, and must respond to county calls within two hours and maintain 24/7 availability.
• Provide full‑service HVAC installation, repair, alteration, testing, balancing, duct cleaning, condensate drainage, and control system services for unlimited horsepower/tonnage.
• Must hold a Master General Mechanical (Air‑Conditioning Unlimited) license and comply with Florida Building Code, OSHA, background‑check, E‑Verify, and insurance/bonding requirements (5 % bid bond, $1.32 M performance bond).
• Work is performed on a work‑order basis; pricing is unit‑price based, with each work order capped at $500 k and total contract ceiling $3.96 M.
