Budget estimate

$50,000 – $150,000

Each award can range from $50,000 to $150,000, with the program historically averaging about $150,000 per award. The total funding pool is $750,000 for up to five awards, so a successful applicant can expect to receive anywhere within that range depending on project scope, budget justification, and IMLS discretion. Factors influencing the final amount include the breadth of proposed activities (e.g., digitization versus extensive programming), cost‑share contributions, and alignment with program objectives.
