Description
The Cedar Springs Public Schools is seeking bids for the Old Administration Building (Hilltop) Asbestos Abatement project. The project involves the abatement of asbestos from the old administration building. A non-mandatory pre-bid site inspection meeting will be held on January 21, 2026, to give bidders a tour of the site and allow them to secure necessary measurements. Bids will be received until February 04, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the due date and time.
• The project requires a bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid amount.
• The bid security may be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or money order payable to Cedar Springs Public Schools.
• All bids must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the owner or employee of the bidder and any member of the school district.
• All bids must also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized affidavit of compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
