Sources Sought Notice - Caterpillar D7G Dozer Repair

The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) – Fort Bliss, TX is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of performing manufacturer-level repairs on a D7G Dozer. The required capabilities include repairing the steering clutch of the Dozer, providing all necessary labor and management, and ensuring professional execution of the effort. The contractor will be responsible for transporting the Dozer to and from their maintenance facility in El Paso, TX. The contract type is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards. • The contractor must provide all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, vehicles, supplies, equipment, materials, facilities, and services required to perform the work. • The contractor must ensure that all materials used meet the original equipment manufacturer's standards and are suitable for the El Paso, TX climate. • The contractor must provide a project manager who will be responsible for the performance of the work. • The contractor must ensure that all personnel working on the contract are properly trained and qualified. • The contractor must comply with all safety and health regulations and guidelines. • The contractor must provide a plan for quality control and assurance.
