POWER OF ONE 2027

The City of Columbus, Office of Diversity and Inclusion is issuing an RFQ to obtain design, financial counseling, technical assistance, and outreach services for the “Power of One 2027” program. The program supports small businesses by providing low‑cost, high‑impact exterior improvements to boost curb appeal. Selected applicants will work directly with small‑business owners to develop design concepts, deliver one‑on‑one financial counseling, advise on project implementation, and help identify eligible businesses for participation. The effort is a sealed‑bid solicitation with a submission deadline of November 3 2026. No performance or bid bonds are required, and small‑business enterprise (SBE) participation is encouraged. • Provide exterior design services (e.g., façade, signage, landscaping) for small‑business storefronts. • Offer individualized financial counseling to help owners secure funding for improvements. • Deliver technical assistance and project management guidance throughout implementation. • Identify and recruit eligible small businesses to participate in the Power of One program. • Comply with city procurement rules; sealed bids; no bonds required.
