Description
The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is requesting quotations for the procurement of a bearing sleeve. The bearing sleeve should be made of Thordon SXL material, with specific dimensions and packaging requirements. The packaging requirements include individual packing in a wooden box, with the box being capable of providing adequate protection during multiple shipments and long-term storage. The box should be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129R, except for bar coding, which should be in accordance with ISO/IEC-16388-2007, Code 39 symbology.
• The bearing sleeve should have a specific National Stock Number (NSN) and Part Number.
• The packaging should meet the requirements outlined in the MIL-STD-2073-1E standard.
• The contractor should provide a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 with their quote.
• The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.
