26-016 Road Glass Beads

St. Charles County is soliciting bids from vendors qualified, responsible, and willing to provide road glass beads for road striping. The contract will be for an approximate 12-month period. The vendor must provide a statement showing the point of manufacture and the earliest initial delivery date. The glass beads must meet the requirements of the St. Charles County Highway Department Standard Specifications. The vendor will be responsible for delivering the glass spheres to the St. Charles County Highway Department Garage. • The vendor must provide a certification statement that the glass beads conform to the current specifications. • The vendor must demonstrate comparability by including appropriate catalog materials, literature, specifications, test data, etc. • The vendor must clearly identify any deviations from the specifications. • The vendor must submit two signed copies of their bid, with one being an original. • The vendor must provide unit prices and extension prices.
