The Medical University of South Carolina is soliciting qualified healthcare consulting firms to deliver comprehensive activation and transition services for the second phase of its Columbia NE OB Unit expansion. The scope includes preparing the renovated Labor & Delivery Department and Special Care Nursery for operational launch, coordinating staff and patient transitions, managing move logistics, and providing training and go‑live support to ensure seamless service delivery. • Develop and execute activation and transition plans for the expanded OB unit. • Support operational readiness, including go‑live coordination and on‑site assistance. • Manage move logistics and facility readiness for the Labor & Delivery Department and Special Care Nursery. • Design and deliver staff training and patient transition protocols. • Provide ongoing support during the initial launch period to address any issues.
