The City of Toledo is seeking bids for the reconstruction of 0.8 miles of pavement on Arlington Avenue from S. Detroit Avenue to Spencer Street. The project includes removing and replacing the pavement, curb, and gutter, as well as minor drainage improvements and replacing all pedestrian ramps. The contractor will be required to perform the work in accordance with the contract documents, including the 2023 Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specifications. The project is expected to be completed by September 1st, 2028. • The contractor must be ODOT-prequalified and have a valid prequalification status at the time of bid, award, and throughout the construction contract. • The contractor must provide a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond or a certified check/cashier's check on a solvent bank. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. • The contractor must provide certified payrolls to the City for all labor performed on the project. • The contractor must execute a performance bond in the full amount of the contract. • The contractor must maintain accurate records and provide access to the City for inspection and audit.
