Description
The City of Huntington is seeking bids from licensed West Virginia contractors for a partial roof replacement project at the Centennial Fire Station. The project includes: * Asbestos abatement and removal of existing roofing materials * Installation of new insulation and EPDM roofing * Installation of new scuppers, collector boxes, and downspouts * Flashing of curbs and penetrations * Installation of walkway pads around HVAC service doors The successful bidder will be required to: * Provide a 20-year manufacturer's warranty * Pay prevailing wage rates * Furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond * Comply with federal and state regulations, including the Davis Bacon Act and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 The bid deadline is April 15th, 2026, at 10 am, and bids will be opened at the City Clerk's Office. An optional site visit will be held on April 8th, 2026, at 11 am. All bids must be submitted through BidExpress, and questions regarding the work to be performed and submittal requirements must be submitted through the same platform. The City of Huntington reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in bidding.
