Baseball Field Concrete Work

The New Buffalo Area Schools (NBAS) is seeking a qualified contractor to perform concrete work associated with baseball field improvements, including walkway installation and bleacher pad construction. The project objectives include providing a durable and properly constructed concrete surface, improving accessibility and flow, and ensuring long-term performance and structural integrity. The scope of work includes site preparation, walkway installation, bleacher pad construction, and finishing. The contractor must demonstrate experience with large-scale concrete flatwork, ability to perform grading, forming, and finishing work, proper insurance and licensing, and ability to meet school site safety requirements. • The project requires approximately 8,000 square feet of concrete. • The concrete specifications include 6” thickness for bleacher seating areas and 4” thickness from walkway to first section of bleachers. • The contractor must provide a lump sum cost for the total project and a breakdown of costs. • The project schedule must include a proposed start date, estimated duration, and completion date.
