Railcar Disc Brake Pads

The North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the purchase of disc brake pads for passenger rail cars. The contract will be for a term of three years, with the option to extend. The successful bidder will be required to supply left-hand and right-hand disc brake pads on an as-needed basis. The pads must meet specific specifications, including being made of rubber/resin bonded brake pad material and fitting a Wabtec 3PM Disc Brake Unit. • The contract will be awarded to the bidder offering the lowest price that meets the specifications. • The bidder must be a registered vendor in good standing with the state. • The bidder must comply with all requirements and specifications outlined in the IFB. • The contract will include provisions for payment, delivery, and warranty. • The bidder must provide a certification of financial condition and complete other required attachments.
