Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the supply of corrugated plastic pipe for Pitt County Maintenance. The pipe will be used to replenish inventory for the county. The bid includes various sizes of corrugated polypropylene type S, double gasket pipe and corrugated HDPE pipe. The vendor shall deliver the pipe free-on-board (FOB) destination to the specified location within the state of North Carolina. The bid price shall constitute the total cost to the buyer for delivery fully assembled and ready for use, including all applicable charges for shipping, delivery, handling, administrative, and other similar fees.
Key points to consider:
• The vendor shall provide a copy of the manufacturer's standard warranty within five consecutive calendar days after request from the agency.
• The vendor shall complete ATTACHMENT F: LOCATION OF WORKERS UTILIZED BY VENDOR.
• The vendor shall provide a signed statement from the manufacturer confirming authorization to distribute or resell the products.
• The vendor shall not ship any products until they have received an order.
• The vendor shall attach to the shipment of material in a waterproof envelope, shipping memorandum giving name of shipper, NCDOT, purchase order number, routing, and destination.
