Description
This solicitation invites a single‑prime contractor to provide comprehensive sidewalk and minor transportation work for the City of Wilmington on an “as‑needed” annual basis. The contract caps total construction costs at $250,000 and payments will be made on a unit‑price basis for each item completed. Bidders must hold a North Carolina Chapter 87 contractor’s license and must demonstrate a good‑faith effort to subcontract at least 14 % of the contract value to minority‑, socially‑, or economically‑disadvantaged businesses. The work includes repair and replacement of sidewalks and driveways, new sidewalk installation, curb‑and‑gutter construction (including KBI Flexi‑Pave), ADA‑compliant curb ramps and warning mats, and small‑scale traffic/bike‑pedestrian improvements.
