Description
The contract covers complete removal of the existing roof system at Manchester Regional Academy and installation of a new EPDM single‑ply membrane roof with associated insulation, flashing, curbs, drainage, and safety railings. The scope includes asbestos‑containing flashing removal, wood blocking, steel deck preparation, EPDM membrane placement, EPDM‑compatible sealants, fire‑stop penetrations, new fan and RTU curbs, and a new roof cricket. The project is subject to state prevailing‑wage rules, a 25 % DAS‑certified small‑business set‑aside, and requires OSHA‑10 certification, insurance minimums, and compliance with Connecticut asbestos regulations.
