The City of Tempe is seeking a vendor to provide workers' compensation claims third-party administration services. The contract has a term of 4 years, with the option to renew for up to 3 additional 1-year terms. The vendor will be responsible for managing workers' compensation claims, including claims processing, medical billing, and subrogation. The contract also requires the vendor to provide various reports and analysis to the City's internal and external auditors. • The vendor must have experience in providing workers' compensation claims administration services to public entities. • The vendor must have a fully integrated managed care program. • The vendor must be able to provide 24/7 telephone service and automatic reporting systems. • The vendor must be able to provide claim process and general workers' compensation training programs for City employees. • The vendor must be able to manage all withholding obligations and issue 1099s in accordance with IRS requirements.
