AUBURN BOULEVARD BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS

The County of Sacramento is seeking a contractor to perform work on the Auburn Boulevard Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements project. The work includes clearing and grubbing, installation of ADA curb ramps, sidewalk, asphalt pavement, traffic signal modifications, slurry seal, traffic striping, bike signal detection, drainage construction, street lighting, and other work specified on the plans and in the specifications. The estimated construction cost is $1,840,000.00. The contract was awarded to one of the three bidders: B&M Builders, Inc., Sierra National Construction, Inc., or McGuire & Hester. • The project includes various improvements to Auburn Boulevard, including bicycle and pedestrian facilities. • The contract requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the project. • The contractor must have a General Engineering Contractor, Class A license. • The project has a mandatory pre-bid meeting, which was held on July 3, 2019. • The contract has several addenda, which are available for download. • The contract has a notice of intent to award, which is available for download.
