Description
The contract is for the widening of County Road 47 at the existing box culvert crossing between South Prairie Road and Rabbit Run. The project includes partial demolition of the existing concrete boxes, installation of steel reinforcing, and extension of the boxes. The contractor will provide temporary storm water drainage and reconstruct the existing roadway using compacted subgrade, geogrid, crushed limestone flexible base, prime coat, and HMACP. The project must be completed within 120 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed.
• The contract utilizes TXDOT standards.
• The contractor shall provide all tools and equipment necessary to complete the project.
• The contractor shall take proper care to avoid unnecessary noise, clatter, or obstructions in walkways, sidewalks, and roadways.
• The contractor shall not interfere with use or safe passage to and from buildings and adjacent facilities.
• The project is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and must be completed by December 31, 2026.
