Description
The City of Mobile contracted Restored Foundation to perform a critical roof repair on the residential property at 651 Ruth Street. The work requires complete removal of the existing roofing system down to the bare deck, thorough inspection and repair of all structural components, full re‑flashing of roof penetrations, installation of a new ridge vent, and installation of a new 30‑year Class A fiberglass asphalt shingle roof with appropriate underlayment and waterproofing measures. The project must be completed quickly, adhere to ICC Residential Code requirements, and include a one‑year leak‑free warranty.
• Full roof removal to deck, repair of trusses/rafters/fascia, and replacement of any deteriorated decking.
• Installation of new underlayment, ridge vent, and Class A fiberglass asphalt shingles, with all flashing, vents, and penetrations properly sealed.
• Contractor must begin within 10 days of a Notice to Proceed and finish within 10 days thereafter, providing real‑time photo documentation and a one‑year warranty.
