Interior Door Access Control

The Amarillo Independent School District issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Interior Door Access Control for 57 campus buildings. The contract was cancelled on September 29, 2022, after receiving eight proposals. The District may re-issue the solicitation in the future. Key aspects of the contract include: • Access Control shall be hardwired at each door location, approximately 2,600 doors • Respondents were asked to provide pricing per door, with and without installation • The District requested estimated time of delivery and project completion • The contract was cancelled due to the District's decision not to pursue the project at this time
